We are happy to announce the start of the Gjøa Physical Training Program, overseen by Coach Tiago!

This free program will provide U8 to U19 players with an effective self-led, age-appropriate physical training workout, along with educational resources covering areas such as nutrition and recovery.

Gjøa Physical Training Program Workouts:
Senior Phase (U15-U19)
Junior Phase (U12-14)
Foundation Phase (U8-U11)

Why a Physical Training Program?
Utilizing the ball in order to maximize soccer development, the Gjøa coaching staff incorporates a limited number of physical training elements into practice sessions every week. But with limited practice time we’ve always recommended that players work on strength and conditioning on their own so that our professional coaches can prioritize teaching during practice hours. Now, with this new program in place, players can follow a guided soccer-specific physical training plan in their spare time.

In addition to this free program, which is included in your Travel Soccer registration, personal 1-2-1 and group physical training packages led by Coach Tiago are available at a reasonable additional cost for U12 – U19 players. More details below.
